Fendi’s calling these “Bugs”–and while we’re honestly seeing birds, not bugs, either way they’re fly. They’re part of a larger Fendi collection of Monster handbags and Bug shoes. This particular sandal is the current favorite footwear of Jodi Taylor, Nordstrom Senior Stylist, who enthuses about it and gives styling tips, below.

“First things first, I should say that many of the designer shoes we carry are not online and in-store only, so interested parties should scope out their local Nordstrom to see what we’re carrying at a given time. These Fendi Bugs, however, we do sell on the site. I love this particular shoe because wearing it is like wearing a piece of art and a Muppet at the same time. It’s nice to wear something from a high-end designer that doesn’t take itself too seriously and can have a sense of humor about fashion. For styling, since the shoe is so wild, I would wear something simple like a navy shift dress or clean denim and a white shirt. That way the focus goes where it should go: the Bugs!”
